Following the two successful editions and the vote of confidence of more than 10,000 visitors from 22 countries, the 3rd Art Thessaloniki Fair will open at the Helexpo pavilions 10, 9 and 8 on Thursday November 22 and will run through to Sunday November 25, 2018.

Under the slogan “Circulation-Information-Entertainment” and under the auspices of the Ministries of Culture, Tourism, Interior (Macedonia-Thrace), the Central Macedonia Region and other city institutions, the 3rd Art Thessaloniki Fair functions in a multidimensional way, by encouraging dialogue, artistic mobility, challenges for innovation, artistic neighborhoods and exchanges, and, above all, an understanding the diversity of cultural phenomena. The organizers aim at establishing the Fair on an international level and ensuring that it is a financial success for the participating galleries.

The Thessaloniki Art Fair is a gathering of art galleries that invest in the strategic and geographic position of Thessaloniki (one of the safest cities in the world), its multicultural identity, its long history with its special ties to the Balkan countries, the United States, Russia, Israel and Turkey.

This year, the 3rd Art Thessaloniki Fair honors Takis, an internationally renowned sculptor, with the participation of the KETE Foundation. (Center for Research on Art and Sciences).

In the extensive parallel program and on the occasion of the HELEXPO International Fair, the USA will host art exhibitions of Greek-American artists from the Zacharia Portalaki collection as well as an exhibition of works by renowned American artist Sol LeWitt from the Efi Piplikatsi-Andreadou collection.

The 3rd International Contemporary Art Fair of Thessaloniki is organized by the HELEXPO International Exhibition AE and its Art Director Pantelis Tsatsis.
