Nearly 2,000 dancers from Greece, the Balkans and other EU countries will perform at the 4th Thessaloniki Dance Festival (TDF) to be held from March 31 to April 1.
The competitions and the seminars will be held at the Vellidis, Germanos, Riadis congress halls and at pavillions 8 and 12 of the International Thessaloniki Fair.
Latin/Standard, Contemporary/Jazz, Hip Hop/Street Style, Salsa, Argentine Tango and Oriental dance styles will be performed at fivel locations concurrently.
Besides the dance competitions, three large milongas - or Argentine Tango dances - will take place, with guests including international renowned dancers. Events will wrap up with the "Best of the best show", including finalists of all adult groups, which will award a monetary prize to the best group for 2018.
Organisers said they are expecting over 4,000 spectators. There will be a total of 151 dance categories and 48 internationally renowned judges.
