A total of 117 migrants and refugees arrived on the northern Aegean islands in the last three days (17-20 February). There were 135 arrivals on Lesvos, 17 on Chios and 25 on Samos.

A total of 575 migrants and refugees have arrived on Lesvos, Chios and Samos since the start of February, authorities said on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, according to figures posted on the Turkish coast guard's official website, 17 incidents involving migrants and refugees were recorded in February in the Aegean and 700 people were sent back to the Turkish coast.
