The Independent Power Transmission Operator ADMIE on Monday said its profits jumped 49.4 pct in the January-September period this year, compared with the same period in 2016, totaling 49.6 million euros (33.2 million in 2016), reflecting higher operating earnings, relatively stable write offs, lower financial expenses and lower tax rates.
Revenues amounted to 194.8 million euros in the nine-month period, up 2.2 pct from 2016, while total costs ?excluding amortizations- fell 11.9 pct to 59 million euros and EBITDA rose 9.7 pct to 138.1 million euros. EBITDA margin grew 4.8 percentage points to 70.9 pct. Net borrowing grew to 242.7 million euros due to tax and dividend payment. Investments rose slightly to 48 million euros compared with the first half, but remained down compared with the nine-month period in 2016.
