Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will be meeting, on Thursday, with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov in Thessaloniki, in an effort to strengthen Greece’s regional role. The upgrade of Greek-Serbian cooperation by establishing a High-Level Cooperation Council and the creation of a Greek-Serbian-Bulgarian high-level cooperation framework are particularly significant steps promoting security, stability and development in the region.

The Greek-Serbian High-Level Cooperation Council will launch its works on Thursday, with the meeting of the Greek PM with the Serbian President and the signing of bilateral agreements. In addition, Greek Ministers of Economy, Infrastructure and Transport, Energy, Tourism, Security and Migration are expected to meet with their Serbian counterparts.
