The International Theater Institute’s Cypriot Center, in cooperation with the House of Cyprus, the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Greece, and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, organizes the Athens Cypriot Theatrical Play Week, hosted at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
This year’s performances begin on Tuesday, October 17, with Anthi Zachariadou’s “Bacon \ Freud”, co-directed by Barnava Kyriazis and Andreas Araouzos (an Alpha Square production), followed on October 19 by “Andronikos, or the painter” by Evridiki Pericleous-Papadopoulou, directed by Maria Manaridou-Karsera (a Solo for Three production). The project’s performances conclude on October 21, with “Defol: Smyrna 1922” by Dimitris Karagiannis, adapted and directed by Andreas Christodoulidis (a Theater One production).
The Athens Cypriot Theatrical Play Week is organized with the support of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture, through the program “CULTURE for 2017”.
