The Acropolis Rally, the only international Greek sports event held on an annual basis for almost seven decades, is in the final line for the starting point ramp on Friday, June 1.

The race, which is the 3rd round of the European Rally Championship (ERC) as well as the Greek Gravel Rally Championship, for modern and historic cars, will return to its usual starting point under the Acropolis.

Following the ceremonial start in the shade of the Parthenon at 11:00 am, the Rally includes the Super Special Stage at the Markopoulo Hippodrome at 15:26. The race inside the Hippodrome oval, returns after 11 years, since it was successfully completed in 2007.

The following day, Saturday, June 2, is the one with the biggest racing activity, with 123.76 racing kilometers out of a total of 379.94 for the day. The crews will complete the Special Stages “New Amfissa”, “Drosohori” and “Paleochori-Mendenitsa”, they will then return to Lamia for the noon service, and afterwards they will repeat the same Special stages.

Accordingly, Sunday June 3, includes two Special Stages, Grameni and Divri in an arc north of Lamia, before finishing at 15:04 at the entrance of the Pan-Hellenic Exhibition of Lamia.
