The 2nd Euro-Arab Conference, which will be held at the Megaron Concert Hall, will begin in Athens on Thursday and will last for two days. The opening of the conference will be announced by Prime Minister Mr. Alexis Tsipras under the auspices of the President of the Republic.

At the conference, geopolitical issues will be discussed and cooperation will be sought in the fields of energy, transport and shipping, education, as well as the productive investment of Arab countries in EU countries and European investment in the Arab world.

The Greek initiative on business and cultural cooperation, which was founded last year, is now part of the wider strategic planning of all parties, as evidenced by the important personalities involved in the work of the conference in the field of politics, economics and culture, of both the Arab world and Europe.
