The EuroWorking Group (EWG) will be convening in Paris on Thursday to review the implementation of the prerequisites and the technical issues of the debt relief. Alternate Finance Minister George Chouliarakis, who will be representing Greece in the EWG, is expected to inform his counterparts about the multi-bill on the prerequisites that will be presented to the Parliament on Friday.
Greece must implement all prerequisites by the Eurogroup of June 21 for a political decision on the conclusion of the review to be made, Eurogroup President Mário Centeno has stated in a letter to the Eurozone Finance Ministers. “We have exchanged some initial views on the package of the debt relief measures that will be implemented at the end of the program to the degree necessary, provided that the program is successfully concluded,” reads Centeno’s letter.
