We need to put emphasis on the people and especially those that are more vulnerable, such as the unemployed, in the framework of reforms proposed by European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the Socialists and Democrats Europarliament Group Gianni Pittella said in an exclusive interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Wednesday.

According to Pittella, Europe cannot imagine that "it will be under the command of Germany".

"We want to strengthen Europe as a whole, and not have just one country that gives the orders ... It is very important to build a Europe with equal membership, and Germany must have its own role and all member states must be respected," he underlined.
