Following the resignations of Dimitris Papadimitriou and Rania Antonopoulou from the ministries of Economy and Labor, respectively, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras proceeded on Wednesday to a small-scale government reshuffle. The new Economy and Development Minister is thus Ioannis Dragasakis, who remains also deputy Prime Minister. The head of the Migration Policy Ministry is now alternate National Defense Minister Dimitris Vitsas, who grants his current office to Fotis Kouvelis.

Meropi Tzoufi, MP of SYRIZA, is appointed deputy Minister for Education, Research and Religious Affairs, while the new deputy Minister for Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity is Athanassios Iliopoulos, the up-to-now special secretary of the Hellenic Labor Inspectorate. Finally, Konstantinos Stratis is appointed deputy Minister for Culture and Sports. The new government members will take an oath on Thursday at Maximos Mansion before President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos and in the presence of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
