Education Minister Costas Gavroglou said that new system for entering universities will be published in the next two weeks as the final details are now being examined.

In an interview with Athens-Macedonian News Agency, the minister said that upcoming changes will include the upgrading of Lyceum (high school), adding that already as of this year there will be a lightening of the exam load for students in the first two years of Lyceum so that they "are more essential."

The minister also said that the country's education map will be different as of 2019-2010 as there will be the addition of new universities that will take shape via cooperation agreements with technical institutes.
