Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his FUROM counterpart Zoran Zaev will be awarded by the President of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their contribution in maintaining peace in the Balkans.
The event is organized by the Center for Peace and Multi-ethnic cooperation and will take place in Mostar.
Prior to the award ceremony, there will be a walk of the leaders in the city’s “Old Bridge”, on the occasion of the anniversary of its rebuilding. This bridge was a meeting point for Serbs and Bosnians and was destroyed during the Yugoslav War.
The leaders will shed flowers on the river crossing the area, thus sending a message of peace.
Afterwards, Alexis Tsipras and Zoran Zaev will sign the peace chart and will be awarded by the President of the country’s Council of Ministers.
