Greek stocks ended flat in the Athens Stock Exchange on Wednesday. The general index of the market eased 0.09 pct to end at 809.98 points, off the day’s lows of 809.22 points. The Large Cap index eased 0.14 pct and the Mid Cap index ended 0.51 pct higher. Turnover was 50.292 million euros in volume of 49,055,461 shares.

Attica Bank (15.63 pct), Mytilineos (1.78 pct) and Coca Cola HBC (0.99 pct) scored big gains among blue chip stocks, while Titan (4.02 pct), OPAP (1.73 pct) and Eurobank (1.57 pct) suffered heavy losses. Among market sectors, Health (2.57 pct), Raw Materials (1.78 pct) and Food (1.0 pct) scored big gains while Constructions (2.65 pct) and Travel (1.40 pct) suffered losses.

National Bank and Attica Bank were the most heavily traded securities of the day. Broadly, advancers led decliners by 59 to 39 with another 23 issues unchanged. Douros (19.71 pct), Leventeris (19.59 pct) and GEK (19.32 pct) were top gainers, while Pegasus (16.15 pct), Ilyda (13.86 pct) and Dromeas (12 pct) were top losers.
