Fast food chain Gregory's opened a store in Bucharest at the start of the month, the company said in a statement.

The new store is part of plans to expand in eastern Europe, Gregory's said, adding that is expects to open three more stores in Romania by the end of the year.

"In the last year, Gregory's has been growing, securing its position as one of the largest European franchises in the field of coffee and food. Expanding abroad is a priority for us and we believe that Romania offers the right step for growth in the Balkans and eastern Europe," it added.
