In February, annual inflation in Greece reached 0.4%, compared to 0.2% in January, according to data published by Eurostat. In the same period in 2017, inflation reached 1.4%. In the Eurozone, annual inflation in February reached 1.1%, compared to 1.3% in January and 2% one year ago. At European Union level, annual inflation reached 1.3% in February, compared to 1.6% in January and 2% one year ago.

The lowest annual inflation rates were recorded in Cyprus (-0.4%), Greece (0.4%), Denmark and Italy (0.5%). The highest annual inflation rates were recorded in Romania (3.8%), Estonia and Lithuania (3.2%). Compared to last year, annual inflation decreased in 18 member states, remained stable in two and increased in seven member states.
