The 83rd International Fair of Thessaloniki will be inaugurated on Saturday, and is expected to be the largest fair of the last twenty years. 1,500 exhibitors will attend, with an official participation of 20 countries.
The honored guest for this year will be the US; Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross will be in charge of the delegation consisting of 60 companies, including some of the top companies in the world, such as Google, Microsoft, Intel, etc. A theme park entitled “Digital Greece” will also be found at stand 12, presenting 130 Greek start-ups.
The government and the opposition are expected to present at the Fair their economic program for the imminent future, the first program after eight years of strict supervision under the memoranda.
