Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem is visiting Athens, on Monday, to meet with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and top government economic officials, in view of the third review of Greece’s bailout program. Mr. Dijsselbloem is also expected to address an event to be held by Economist, and meet with New Democracy President Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In an interview with “Ta Nea” newspaper, the Eurogroup President acknowledged that Greek economy is doing better, however “it is of outmost importance to ensure that there will concur political and economic stability conditions and that the reforms will be promoted, both during the program and after its conclusion”. Mr. Dijsselbloem also stated that Greece will remain under supervision after August 2018, when the bailout program ends.
