A labor bill will be presented to the Greek Parliament on Tuesday, and according to the Labor Ministry, it includes interventions focused on three axes to the benefit of employees and the social majority.

In particular, the bill proposes regulations to enhance and expand employees’ rights by combating undeclared, under-declared and unpaid work. It also includes social security provisions to implement social security reforms in a more comprehensive manner and meet the fair demands of certain social security categories. Finally, it provides for equal participation of disabled persons in the political, economic and social life. According to the government, the bill regulations aim at essentially improving various aspects of the everyday life of thousands of employees.
