All pending issues will be resolved in arbitration, Environment and Energy Minister George Stathakis said on Wednesday after a meeting with representatives of miners working for Hellas Gold.
Stathakis said that the assembly of the State's Legal Council was expected to convene today, while the arbitration process is expected to last three months. The Greek minister said the meeting was held in a good climate and reached a common framework, while he stressed that he would meet with the company if it made such a request.
He reiterated that all pending licences for Olympiada were expected to be issued on Wednesday or Thursday, but licencing for the project in Skouries depended on the outcome of arbitration. The government's decisions safeguard job positions, the minister said.
