The victims of the terrorist attack in Barcelona, where a van rammed into a crowd of people on the busy pedestrian area La Rambla, are of at least 18 nationalities. Three members of a Greek family are among the wounded; the mother has been seriously injured, while the two children are more lightly wounded.

A representative of the Spanish Civil Protection Agency has announced that civilians from France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Argentina, Venezuela, Belgium, Australia, Hungary, Romania, Ireland, Greece, Cuba, FYROM, China, Italy and Algeria are among the victims; however, she has not clarified whether she referred to the people dead or wounded. It is reminded that 13 people lost their lives and around 100 were injured as a result of the attack.
