Main opposition New Democracy (ND) parliementary spokesperson Makis Voridis in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Sunday called Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras "the greatest fraud in the history of Greek politics."

He said that the tragedy of the last eight years will soon end and estimated that the Greek people will never again vote for a right wing party. Voridis also called on the prime minister to immediately proceed to elections.

He also pledged that New Democracy will implement its plans for tax reduction as it will drastically speed up growth, essentially support the economy, and particularly the small and medium sized companies, attract Greek and foreign investments and negotiate the reduction of high surplus targets.
