New Democracy called on Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias to brief parliament immediately on "their secret diplomacy" with Albania and repeated its condemnation of the Greece-FYROM agreement on the name issue as "harmful to the nation."

In a statement, the main opposition party condemned "the secret diplomacy of Tsipras and Kotzias, which resulted in the nationally harmful agreement with Skopje," adding, "Greek citizens are now astounded to find out that another such agreement is being promoted with Albania."

"We call on the prime minister and foreign minister to immediately brief parliament about what exactly they are discussing in secret with Tirana. All negotiations by Tsipras, secret or open, have cost Greece enough," it said.
