Following last Saturday’s unfruitful Washington Group in Canada, the deliberations of the Europeans over the next steps regarding Greece’s debt will continue in Paris on Thursday.
Commenting on the failure to reach an agreement, alternate spokesperson of the German Finance Ministry Jeanette Schwamberger stated that the decision on Greece’s debt will be made in time, before the program conclusion.

Eurogroup President Mário Centeno told Reuters that the Eurozone will prepare a plan for a debt relief for Greece, which will be reliable for the markets. “There is no concern for a halt on the talks on Greece’s debt, and a possible non-participation of the IMF in the program will not affect the reliability of the country’s exit from the crisis in August,” Greek government spokesperson Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on his part.
