The file on Novartis case, concerning the investigation of any criminal liabilities of 10 politicians in the period 2006-2015, was presented, on Tuesday, to the extraordinary plenary session of the Greek Parliament. Parliament deputy speaker Tassia Christodoulopoulou stated that the persons involved are former Prime Ministers Antonis Samaras and Panagiotis Pikrammenos, as well as former ministers Dimitris Avramopoulos, Andreas Loverdos, Anrdeas Lykourentzos, Marios Salmas, Adonis Georgiadis, Ioannis Stournaras, Evangelos Venizelos and Georgios Koutroumanis.

According to the case file, the above persons are investigated for graft acceptance, passive bribery and exaction. Mrs. Christodoulopoulou stated that the case file is available for reading to the representatives of the parties and the MPs interested. All persons concerned deny any involvement, while Antonis Samaras, Adonis Georgiadis and Andreas Loverdos have stated that they will press charges.
