"We need to focus on the coming period on the implementation of the agreement with Greece, but also on the urgent reforms that need to be made in order to prepare our country for accession talks," Bujar Osmani, FYROM Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, said in an interview with Ethnos newspaper.

Osmani described the agreement "a fair compromise on both sides", many aspects of which "remain to be determined in practice and goodwill to move forward."

"Our joining the EU and NATO will stabilize the region and potentially re-activate similar processes in the Western Balkans," Osmani said.
