Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will be visiting Thessaloniki, on Friday, to deliver a speech, at 8 p.m., at the 2nd Summit of the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece. The topic of his speech will be “Powerful and competitive industry as a prerequisite for a new production model”. At noon, the Greek Premier is expected to meet with Thessaloniki Mayor Yiannis Boutaris and with District Head of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas.

Mr. Tsipras’ speech coincides with the process for the conclusion of the third review, the search for investments and the discussion on the next day after the end of Greece’s bailout program. It is reminded that the Prime Minister’s Office was recently inaugurated in Thessaloniki, since it is a priority of the Greek government to achieve the recovery of Northern Greece’s production rate and more specifically, to bring out the historic identity, and the multicultural, mercantile and industrial character of the city.
