On Monday’s Ministerial Council, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras presented the comprehensive plan for Greece’s growth after the exit from the memoranda; the plan was the outcome of a long-standing government preparation and of deliberations with production and local government bodies in development conferences.

“The plan explicitly refers to the sectors that may promote Greece’s significant development and upgrade in the international economic competition: processing, industry, agrifood, tourism, shipping, industry of pharmaceuticals, logistics, innovation, start-ups, infrastructure, energy,” the Prime Minister explained. “Greece’s strategic goal is to combat undeclared employment, to reinstate the basic principles of collective bargaining and to increase minimum wage, so that Greece returns to European normality,” he added.
