A police officer and two asylum seekers from Cameroon were arrested in Mytilene and charged with being members of a ring forging documents and illegally transporting migrants.

The two men from Cameroon were allegedly members of a ring that supplied migrants with fake documents that enabled them to travel abroad. The police officer, who served at the departures' office in Mytilene airport, facilitated the foreign nationals' departure for money.
