The road map that will lead to a commonly acceptable solution to the FYROM name issue was discussed in the meeting of Greece’s Foreign Minister and FYROM’s Foreign Minister in Thessaloniki on Thursday, in view of the new round of negotiations on January 17, under the auspices of the UN.

According to sources of the Greek Foreign Ministry, head of Greek diplomacy Nikos Kotzias exchanged views with his FYROM counterpart Nikola Dimitrov on the Confidence-Building Measures, and they discussed the methodology that should be followed, the approach of the two sides and the framework concerning the name issue.
