For the fourth consecutive year, the port city of Piraeus will welcome visitors of all ages, in the context of the “Sea Days 2018” event which will kicks off on June 1 and runs until June 10.

The event, which is organized by the Municipality of Piraeus in collaboration with the city’s institutions and associations, features more than 70 free events that focus on the marine environment, shipping, sports, entertainment and education through a series of conferences, lectures, workshops and seminars. These events aim to inform and raise public awareness on issues of marine sustainability as well as to promote networking of public and private bodies for future collaboration in the Blue Growth Strategy.

“Sea Days” is a pioneering institution and one of the most important events in our city, said Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis during the program presentation. “It is a celebration that has been actively and passionately embraced by the local community, despite all the problems and the difficulties we experience in our daily lives. It is a mutual effort, an exciting way of cooperation, participation and extroversion for the Piraeus that we all want. A Piraeus that creates and stands out at all levels,” said Mr. Moralis.

ERT S.A. is the event’s communication sponsor.
