On Saturday evening, the Greek government and the Institutions reached a staff-level agreement on the fourth review, which is another step towards the successful conclusion of Greece’s program in August. Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos stated that the agreement will be ratified in Thursday’s Eurogroup. There will also be talks regarding the debt settlement, while on June 21st, the post-memorandum supervision will be discussed.
It is noted that most of the prerequisites will be integrated into the multi-bill that will be presented to the Greek Parliament in early June. European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici welcomed the agreement, and stressed that it paves the way for a package deal, including measures ensuring the sustainability of the debt.
