Several 24-hour strikes and work stoppage periods, announced the workers in the Athens public transport network protesting against the multi-bill voting.
The metro lines 2 & 3 and the tram will not circulate and between 12:00 and 15:00 there will be no urban train.
Yellow trolleys and buses circulate according to regular schedule.
All passenger ferry boats will remain in their respective Greek ports for 24 hours, with the possibility for extension, following the Pan-Hellenic Naval Federation’s decision, from 00:01 until 24:00.
Tugboats crews and lifeguards are also striking.
PAME is organizing a demonstration at 12:00 in Omonia Square.
POSPERT is also participating with a work stoppage between 12:00 and 15:00.
Monday’s strikes and work stops
On the day of the multi-bill voting, Monday, January 15th, buses, urban trains and yellow trolleybuses will not circulate due to a 24-hour strike.
According to the latest information, the Athens Metro Operators Association has also announced a new 24-hour strike.
Trains and suburban railway are operating normally.
The air traffic controllers announced a three-hour work stoppage for Monday.
