Residents and visitors of the Greek capital will have the opportunity to enjoy a different kind of tour through Athens, as a photographic walk takes place that combines the art of photography and street art.
The three-hour photo walk will kick off with an introductory discussion at Thisseio, before heading to Psyrri and Kerameikos, to conclude at the Kerameikos Metro Station in Gazi. This Sunday stroll will allow participants to admire the notable works of Athenian Street Art, while debating the potential for their photographic approach and reconstruction, particularly touching on the association of street photography and street art.
During the walk, guided by Panagiotis Gouliaris, a doctoral candidate of the Greek Polytechnic, who has been conducting photography seminars since 2009, participants will also have the opportunity to discuss various issues in photography with him.
The tour starts at 10am and is projected to run for 3 hours. Cost per person is €20. Reservations are required. You can book seats here.
