The new issue of the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) weekly freepress magazine 'Praktoreio' is dedicated to the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), also known as the Metsovian Polytechnic, which this year celebrates its 180th year.

Among the highlights of the issue is an article by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who was a student at the NTUA, and describes it as "a living space of ideas, a cell in which the values of freedom and democracy flourish."

NTUA Rector Ioannis Golias writes that the NTUA, 180 years after its foundation, aims to once again be on the front lines of the effort for reconstructing Greece and improving the prospects of future generations.

This week's issue also runs articles on destinations for winter holidays in Greece, such as Evritania, Pilion, Parnassus, Kalavryta, the Nafpaktia mountains and Andritsena.
