ISTANBUL (ANA-MPA/A. Robopoulos) - Turkish authorities denied that the two Greek soldiers detained in Edirne would appear before a prosecutor for additional testimony on Tuesday.
The two servicemen were arrested after crossing into Turkish territory during a patrol earlier this month and are detained pending trial.
Earlier, sources had reported that the two soldiers were being taken to present additional testimony.
Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, replying to questions, had said that the Greek ambassador did not confirm the reports of their transfer.
