Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accompanied by his wife Emine, arrived in Athens on Thursday at 10:40.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu welcomed the Turkish president at Athens International Airport 'Eleftherios Venizelos'.

According to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' announcement, Tsipras will receive the Turkish president at the Maximos mansion at 13.30. The two leaders will make joint statements to the press after the end of their meeting. A working lunch will follow, with wide-ranging talks between the two delegations.

According to sources, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, Economy Minister Dimitris Papadimitriou, Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis, Energy Minister George Stathakis, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis, Alternate Economy Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas, Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas, Migration Minister Yiannis Mouzalas and the Chief of the General Staff Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis will participate in the Greek delegation.
