The International Micro μ Festival (IMMF) returns for its 9th edition on October 9-13 2019, in Greece as well as in other European cities.
The IMMF’s main event is its “live” Greek Competition Section, which will take place on Saturday, October 12th, in 12 cities in Greece and abroad simultaneously, inviting the audience to vote for their favorite Greek short film, which will be announced later that night with live connections between all the cities.
During the festival, the audience in most of the participant cities, will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite European short film among the 15 short films that will be screened for the first time in Greece, as part of the festival’s international section. Furthermore, spectators will have the chance to explore the impact of research and innovation in the IMMF 2019 Special Tribute titled “Micro Future: Technologies of Tomorrow”, which this year is dedicated to technology research and innovation with a particular focus on cinema.
The IMMF fans in Athens will watch the short and feature films of talented young Greek directors, with which they had previously participated at the festival.
