The 1st Athens International Children’s Film Festival, which takes place on December 7, 8 and 9 at the Athens Concert Hall, showcases 74 short, feature and animated films, as well as live action, from 30 countries, in 22 different languages and is addressed to children and adolescents from 3 to 18 years old.
The festival opens with Michel Ocelot’s new film “Dilili in Paris”, in the presence of the director. In his latest film, the great animator, takes us to Paris at the time of Belle Epoque, where we meet Dilili and a young delivery guy on scooter. Little Dilili conducts an investigation regarding the mysterious abductions of girls. They will go from adventure to adventure through the streets of Paris, they will meet extraordinary women and men who will help them, as well as wicked characters who creep in the shadows. The film will be released in Greece this December.
The festival collaborates with the Children’s Museum and the Athens Book World Capital 2018, and proposes film workshops, specially designed playrooms and libraries, book readings by special guests, and interactive technology games.
