On Tuesday, October 31, the Acropolis Museum will become the first station in the Athens State Orchestra’s musical and museological tour that will be the “Musical Walks in the Museums 2017-2018” chamber music cycle.
In this inaugural station, the Acropolis Museum will host the Athens State Orchestra’s Aenaon String Quartet for a unique concert in the Parthenon Hall, with an emphasis on lyricism, and featuring works by Haydn, Schubert, Puccini, and Borodin.
During this time, guests will be able to explore the Parthenon Hall overlooking the Acropolis.
Admission to the concert is free, with tickets that will be available on the same day from 5:30 pm onwards. Tickets are also valid for the Parthenon Hall until 8 pm.
