Civil servants’ ADEDY union has called for a 24-hour strike today, with the participation of health care workers, teachers, professors, judicial employees and employees at ministries, ephorates, local administration, social security funds and city planning commissions.

Furthermore, AEGEAN and Olympic Air are proceeding with flight modifications and cancellations due to the Greek Air Traffic Controllers participation in the strike.

Their demands include among other things, a significant increase in health spending, new permanent posts in education, job security as well as the repeal of the recent law that restricts protests.
