The next few days are considered very critical for the course of the pandemic. The extension of restrictive measures in Attica remains on the “table”, as hospitals and especially ICUs record an increasing trend in the number of admissions and intubation.

EODY announced yesterday Thursday 1,400 new cases of coronavirus, 320 intubated and 27 deaths, with the fullness in the ICU currently reaching 85%. The increase in intubation within two weeks has shown an increase of 28.5%.

The  Committee of Experts meets again today to propose additional restrictive measures, focusing on areas that have recently “blushed”, such as Kalymnos and Ioannina. An increase in viral load is also recorded in Achaia, Evia, Rethymno, Ilia, Corinth, Thassos, Argolida, Boeotia, Kefalonia, Karpathos and Heraklion.

The meeting of experts is expected to focus on the use of a double mask.
