As announced by government spokesperson Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be visiting Skopje, on Thursday, to meet with political leaders, opposition parties and Albanian parties of FYROM, so that the talks for finding a mutually acceptable solution to the naming dispute continue.

With regard to the solution plan prepared by the Greek Foreign Ministry and already sent to Skopje, Mr. Tzanakopoulos commented, “We are now waiting for their comments and observations”. The plan has been prepared based on the steadfast views of the Greek government, namely a composite, erga omnes name, which entails the need of constitutional amendment in the neighboring country.
