“We seek an economic and political cooperation in a wide range of issues,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Mardas, speaking to Proto Programma radio station and journalist Thanos Siafakas, Monday morning, referring to the government’s initiative for a meeting of the Southern European countries political leaders.

Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that Greece does not cultivate relations with Israel, at the expense of the Arab world and that is a well-known fact. When necessary, Greece can play the role of the bridge between Europe and the Arab world, he added.
