The Athens Digital Arts Festival presents for the first time, the art, science & technology exhibition, titled Extending Reality | Coexistence: Art,Science and Technology at the Eugenides Foundation, the New Digital Planetarium .

The exhibition which runs from November 14-17, aims to highlight the dynamics of modern media in everyday life through a fun and interactive program open to everyone who wants to learn about the contemporary ways in which Art, Technology and Science coexist.

The program also aims to change the way we perceive reality and its boundaries, by presenting the intersection of the physical with the digital world and by creating a hybrid space between physical and virtual reality. The program features interactive installations, AR and VR projects, games, workshops, 360 performances, and screenings.

The exhibition will host works by Greek and foreign artists, including the interactive installation Black Hole by Yiannis Kranidiotis (GR), a light and sound sculpture inspired by the geometry of black holes. The Human I by Saint Machine (RO) which looks at new patterns of technology-facilitated collaborative behaviors. One of Pina Bausch’s dancers, Fabien Prioville, has created Rendez-vous, specifically for this exhibition. It is a VR artwork that redefines contemporary dance and traditional theater and is co-produced by Tanzhaus NRW. Finally, Time Panorama by Dr. Ya Lun Tao from Taiwan, is a VR artwork based on the idea that the world is made up of illusions and is the panoramic projection of desires.
