Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is leaving for Brussels today to take part at the extraordinary European Council on the EU Multiannual Financial Framework for the period 2021-2027.

Referring to the extraordinary session, government spokesman Stelios Petsas said that Kyriakos Mitsotakis will put forward our country’s interests on a range of issues to be discussed, such as cohesion, the Common Agricultural Policy, immigration and climate change. The Greek government’s priority is to secure funding, especially for the migration issue.

On the same issue, Migration and Asylum Minister Notis Mitarachi and Alternate Minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos are heading to Berlin today, to meet with German Federal Minister of Interior Horst Seehofer.
