The Chairman of the FIFA Monitoring Committee, Mr. Herbert Hubel, recommended to the Committee of Federation Members the expulsion of Greek football from the international federations without suspension or a period of grace, and also without any exception for the national teams.
Obviously, Hubel was not satisfied with the plan and actions announced by EPO President Vangelis Grammenos at the meeting they had in Austria three days ago.
“The current situation does not allow the EPA to guarantee the smooth running of national competitions,” he states in his report.
Hubel’s suggestion will be discussed in May or, perhaps, even in June. This means that some things may change, but the time granted has been drastically reduced.
