The first case of coronavirus in Greece has been confirmed in Thessaloniki. According to a report issued by AHEPA hospital where the 38-year-old woman is being treated, she is already being given special medication to fight the viral strain COVID-19. The patient is in good health and has mild symptoms. The woman had recently visited Milan and returned to Thessaloniki on Sunday night.

When she started experiencing symptoms, she visited AHEPA Hospital, a coronavirus referral hospital, while her relatives and friends who had been in contact with her over the last few days, were put in quarantine. The patient will remain in quarantine for 14 days.
