FYROM will change its constitutional name to “Republic of Northern Macedonia” in a matter of days.

Athens will send today a verbatim note to Skopje stating that the process of the ratification of the Prespes Agreement and FYROM’s accession protocol to NATO have been completed by Greece, so that the obligations of Skopje can come into effect. Among these are the names of roads, public buildings and government documents.

Deputy Foreign Minister George Katrougalos said that our neighbors will then inform the UN and all member states about the country’s new constitutional name.
