FYROM’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has called the citizens of his country to participate in Sunday’s referendum and vote in favor of the agreement with Greece for the naming dispute to be resolved.

“On Sunday, you will be called to make an historical decision, which is not a selection among parties, but a selection that concerns your future and the future of your children,” Zoran Zaev said to the people of his country. The Prime Minister also stated that with the Prespa Agreement, his country makes a concession as far as the name is concerned, but it ensures its national identity.

On the other hand, the leader of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party, Hristijan Mitskoski, said in an interview with a FYROM newspaper that those who will abstain from the referendum and those who will vote against the agreement will be much more than those who will vote in favor.
